Master the fundamentals of drawing and unleash your creativity. This series will guide you through the essential elements of pencil drawing, from lines and shapes to composition and shading. With engaging prompts and exercises, you’ll build your skills and gain confidence. Each week, we’ll explore a variety of drawing applications, from landscapes and abstracts to still lifes, and discover your unique artistic style.
Essential Supplies:
• Sketch paper or copy paper: for different exercises and practice
• Drawing paper: Heavier-weight paper with a bit of tooth for more detailed work and precision
• Drawing pencils: A range of hardnesses (e.g., 2H (standard), 4H (hard/gray,) 4B (soft/black) to create different line weights and textures.
• Erasers: a couple of options for soft and hard erasers for precision and flexibility.
• Ruler or straightedge: For creating straight lines and measuring.
Optional Supplies:
• Fine line drawing pens: For creating precise lines and details.
• Drawing board: A stable surface on which to work.

- All Classes are on Mondays from 10-12:00 February 3 to 24.
