The 2025 Teddy Bear Clinic will be held at Cheshire Medical Center’s Family & Community Care clinic at 62 Maple Avenue in Keene, NH.
The Teddy Bear Clinic provides an opportunity for children to learn about—and normalize—going to the clinic by pretending to be the doctor, nurse, medical assistant or technician. Children can bring their own favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to be “treated.” A teddy bear will also be provided to each child who attends the event.
Children ages 2 to 12 years-old will benefit most from the Teddy Bear Clinic. However, any child under the age of 18 is able to register for the event.
To improve the health and safety of children attending the clinic, each adult will also have the opportunity to learn about safe storage of medication and guns. Additionally, children who are registered for the Teddy Bear Clinic can get properly fitted for a bike helmet to take home with them.
New this year, Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team and other local emergency vehicles will be available for a free emergency vehicle Touch-a-Truck event in the parking lot. Registration is not required for this portion of the event.
How do I register?
While the clinic is free, registration is required to attend. Starting April 1, register by emailing teddybearclinic@cheshire-med.com with the full name and age of each child that you are registering, as well as the full name of each adult accompanying them. Registration is limited to the first 74 children who contact us.
