This evening introduction class will help you learn the basic techniques to mindfulness in an encouraging setting. Mindfulness Meditation involves learning to pay attention and connecting the mind and body in the present moment. The course will explore basic techniques that develop a calm and openhearted approach to living through challenging times and circumstances. All are welcome. No experience with meditation is required.

Ginnie Gavrin is a retired massage therapist. She earned a Masters Degree in Counseling where she focused on integrating meditation into working through life crises. She is a member of the Board and a facilitator at the Mindfulness Center.
