IN PERSON So You Want to Be a Poet? Supportive Poetry Writing

Do you write poetry? Would you like to share your work with other writers to give and receive feedback? Have you always wanted to write poetry but need a group to help motivate you?
This six-week poetry writing group will meet and create a supportive and safe space where other writers and aspiring writers will gather to foster each other’s growth as writers together.
Through the use of prompts and exercises, participants will lean into new ideas and ways to express themselves. The group will explore other poets for inspiration and have a weekly suggested cue to encourage creativity. Participants will share their writings and will provide positive constructive feedback to each other.

This program consists of six sessions.  When you register for the first date (January 29), you are enrolled in all sessions
