Advance Directives determine who will speak for you about medical decisions when you are not able to speak for yourself, either for a short time or due to an ongoing health condition.
These are vital documents for people living with dementia- but those caring for them should have these documents as well.
This workshop will review Advance Directive documents and provide information on how to complete them. There will be opportunity to discuss some of the special issues that may arise for people who are caring for someone with dementia.
