This workshop is for you if you’ve been cleared by your OB or Midwife and you’re wondering what to do next, or you are anywhere post C-birth and you never really did anything specific to address your scar, tightness, or mental and emotional load of what happened. In this workshop we will review the anatomy of a C-section, self massage and movement techniques for healing, the psychology of healing and resources for support, and have time for discussion.

-Is there sensitivity when you bump against a counter or wear certain clothes?
-Do you have pain when lifting your arms, laying on your belly or leaning back?
-Are you a year or more post C-birth and you have a “shelf” forming around your incision?

Come to this workshop for guidance on what to do now, the anatomy of what happened, and why you can have pelvic pain even though you delivered through your abdomen! We will discuss the psychology of healing and resources for support, review the anatomy and discuss why pain further away could be related to this surgery, and go over a 5’ routine for home care (2-3’ self massage and 2-’3’ movement).
