All employees are invited to join the Bike and Walk to Work Challenge May 12 – 18, 2025.

Bike or Walk to Work Week is an opportunity to commute green and get physical activity at the same time!

WHY PARTICIPATE:

  • Join the movement across DH, NH, VT and the US!
  • You may participate any day during bike & walk to work week
  • This is a ‘green’ event, encouraging us to reduce CO2 production
  • Make a plan and learn how you can commute to work by alternative means
  • Feel great

Register to earn 20 points in ManageWell® each day you participate during the week.

Upper Valley Ways To Go! is an ongoing initiative aimed at strengthening our communities’ transportation options to make them more sustainable, equitable, and enjoyable for all.

Bike and Walk and Learn Series: Join Lebanon Recreation, Arts, and Parks for a free event promoting biking and walking! Happening Friday, May 2, starting at 6:45 AM with a group ride/walk from Colburn Park (Lebanon) to DHMC, arriving around 7:30 AM.

In Lebanon: On Friday, May 16, Lebanon hosts a breakfast station at Colburn Park (City Hall) from 7–9 AM with coffee, refreshments, and commuting info. A DHMC employee will be available for questions and lead a group bike ride to DHMC at 7:45 AM.

In Hartford: On Friday, May 16, stop by Hartford Town Hall (White River Junction), 7:30–9 AM, for refreshments, snacks, free kids’ helmets, bike safety inspections, and more, courtesy of the Hartford Police Department.
